Revan Lightsaber length

Ive been searching this forum for the info but havnt seen it yet so I thought Id ask

 

Im starting to build my Darth Revan saber and want it to be as accurate as possible and was hoping someone could tell me the proper length of the hilt

 

I saw somewhere it said 12" but I wanted make sure this is accurate

 

Does anyone know? and while Im here, what about the proper thickness?

I remember reading it was 12" as well but I forget where I saw it. Sorry.

Dont think there is a rule of how long the saber is . Different sabersmiths have made multiple version of the revan saber which is in fact a KOTOR saber used by everyone in KOTOR

 

as long as it follows the design of the ingame render you should be fine

From what I saw on the CRL there is no requirement for length (obviously needs to look good)

BUT you're in luck. this dude built a pretty good looking Revan saber you can reference

I had a few made by a colleague not so long ago and I basically made sure the emitter end would take a 1 inch blade, then I scaled the design around that. The final length is just under 12 inches.
