That looks really sharp Alan. Nice job. I want to know how long you last in the heat! :P

Would be perfect for a Polar Plunge troop or any sort of winter troop. Haha.

Seriously though... Nice upgrade, Sir.

Alan can we get a look at your attachments for the hood and how you make that work? I'm curious how you've got that going and I think we'd all like to see if you've got something that works well for you.

Excellent. I think the 'capelet' and getting that situated is one of the hardest fittings we have, and certainly is the hardest part for me to always make sure is primped correctly before a troop.

the material wraps around my shoulders and under the chestplate .. and it velcros together

this way you have the perfect cowl from the original 3d render of the game soemthing MWA is missing

once its velcro together this keeps the hood from losing that shape. also the weight of the material makes it wrap arounf my head making it look more menace and avoiding been moved by wind when trooping outside

Beautiful! I was just commenting to one of our Vaders I'd love to have a wool set of robes one day. Mine are raw silk, for convention use only. I'd like to have a more versatile set. Is it heavy at all?

The cowl looks much better than the MWA one. Awesome!!

I really like the separated cowl you did. I have been having issues with mine as I attached it to the cloak and well as I'm sure you know it's HEAVY. So the idea of doing this separation I think will help alot. Could you post a photo of what this looks like while being worn so I can see how it lays to create one like it? seeing it flat helps but it doesn't give me the lay how it would be before covered with armor and such. So any photos you could submit could help me finish up the fabric of mine and I'd be really appreciative. Thanks

Can you post a pic that you would have to make, where you have the original soft parts and the wool ones side by side from the same angle? That would be cool to see. I'd just use an old troop pic crop it and then paste. In a new pic a new paste it in beside it. i would love to see one with the hoods myself. I love that the wool one DOSEN'T come to a peak, so much more menacing looking in my opinion.

From Left to Right

Left first approval images after a few mods to make it clearable with the UKG

Middle Upgraded Mask and wool

Right is the way the wool falls around my face not the tent looking type of the original soft parts

the mask is the old one there but that image shows the new wool fits and wraps your body like it should in the game.

Using soft fabrics in my opinion makes it look like fancy dress :) rubies etc
