Hi everyone. I am starting work on my version of Miraj Scintel, the Zygerian queen from the Slaves of the Republic arc of The Clone Wars cartoon. I hope to have her approved by Celebration Orlando and I will have a lot of questions about her. My first one is about her collar seen here. It is metallic and curved to fit her, and as seen in these screen caps, it moves with her as well. So I don't think it's rigid like armor (though clone wars has had rigid armor behave as if it is flexible before, it's not quite as flexible as this) it also has some dimension to it, as shown here So I don't think it's just painted or embroidered on. My current plan is to make a model on a ducttape dummy and cast it out of silicone or latex backed with fabric, then attach the fabric to the dress, but I am always open to new ideas and any help is appreciated.
