Trying to create a pattern the looked "right: for the skirt, The first one I created didn't look right; I tried to make my own based on reference photos. I've been looking at several photos of the costume and photos of how people have made it.

I appreciate it I've been collecting reference images of her for awhile.

I have been looking around in there. I made one last year but scraped it because of the skirt. That's the part that I am having the most difficulty with.

This is from an event I did back in March. Brian Pauley (Luke Skywalker) and I put together a lightsaber battle to "Duel of The Fates" for the Defiance College Movie Concert in Defiance, OH. We put it together all over Skype. It was supposed to be Mara with a red saber verses ROTJ Luke but due to technical difficulties with our lightsabers we had to do Jedi Mara versus ANH Luke. I am having sound put into my new custom saber. I have a ultra saber and I don't like that there's no sound in it. But that's just my preference.

Are you basing the shin/knee guards off the decipher image of Mara Jade or the comic version? I can send you what I use for mine if you would like.
