  1. Last year, I made some 3D files for Darth Revan armor, to join the Norwegian Garrison. I had a lot of fun making my own costume and getting it approved. The armor was made based on the current CRL. After doing some minor fixes to the armor, I've now decided to share them with everyone that wants to make a Darth Revan. I've shared the files for free. The armor is made for my body, so If you decide to print it, you'll need to make sure to make them fit you as well. This is a nice way to get into making your own Revan armor. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask! Link to the files: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:817868
  2. Thank you! When it comes to the rings, could you send me a message before your next trip? I'm looking around for rings, but if I don't find any before that, I may be interested. Again, thank you for helping me!
  3. Hello! I'm Runar from Norway! I just got approved this weekend, the night before my first troop! My process started a yeaar ago when I was a supporter at an event and when I got home I was like now it's time to start fulfilling the dream of becomming Darth Revan in the 501st Legon. I opened Blender and started modelling the mask, and through the year I've designed armor, 3D printed, sanded, painted and even learned to sew while writing my master's thesis, so that I could be a sith lord this weekend. It has been a journey and I've learned a lot, and I'm looking forward to using this costume a lot of times! Also, my TKID is 75125. Since I'm a theologian, I would find it fun for my id to be a theological reference, so this is the dimensions of the Ark of the Covenant in centimeters, 75cm by 125cm.
  4. I've registered here as part of the Nordic Garrison, but that garrison doesn't exist anymore, since the nordic countries have each made their own garrisons. So I'm part of the Norwegian Garrison, which is not on the list atm.
  5. I'm now finally approved and member of the 501st Legion, so I would like to request detatchment access! SL 75125: https://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=35863 Also, I'm not sure if this is the place to ask this, but I'll do it anyway. I've registered here as part of the Nordic Garrison, but that garrison doesn't exist anymore, since the nordic countries have each made their own garrisons. So I'm part of the Norwegian Garrison, which is not on the list atm. Not sure if this is important, but will it be fixed in the future? Nevermind. Found the right place to post it. Thank you!
  6. After having done some fixes to the costume I now got approved! This weekend I also have had my first troop at the norwegian Spillexpo, which have been awesome so far. Thank you so much for the help!
  7. I put the whole thing together, and its mostly done! Need to do some minor tweaks, like fixing the straps that holds the armor up, and fixing the leather sections so they don't popp out like they do now. But I'm soon there now I hope!
  8. No I was building it on a stand on a norwegian "maker faire" , so I put it on to see how it looked. The others in the backround was doing a troop, but I didn't troop with them, they just were there when we took the picture
  9. I put together everything I had done today. Just some few parts more and it's done. Also need to fix the leather part a little so it curves better around me
  10. Thank you! Yes that would be very helpful if you could bring the ring. Thank you very much for the help!
  11. Thanks for the feedback! The rings are the closest I could find localy. They are slightly larger than 2'', but I'd hoped that would work. I couldn't find any info on the ID on the CRL, but I do agree that they are thinner than most of the other I could see. Also you're right I that need to weather the fabric. Forgot to mention that, but that's also on the to-do list. If everything else is good then I'm one step closer!
  12. I have mostly finoshed the front and back or the armor (except the two black leather pices on the sides of the abdomen armor). Next step is to mount them together. Hope this looks good enough
  13. Thanks for the feedback! It wasn't that clear from the picture, but the chest armor and the ab is two separate parts. I just put them on top of each other when I took the picture. I'll add the lether part later.
  14. Thanks! Yeah I've followed the CRL while modeling the parts to make sure it'll be fine. Made a WIP post earlier today with some pictures of my progress. Looking forward to join you guys!
