Great news everyone! I've been notified that this CRL for The Clone Wars Darth Bane has been approved and is currently being worked on by the LMOs. We should see it posted soon. Thank you all who have followed me on this long journey and I hope to see you trooping soon.

I tried putting make up on a glove so I won't have to worry about consistently putting paint on my hands.

Great Idea! Yea putting on the cheapo hand makeup I had was a pain to not get it on anything. I'll try the gloves next time.

Well everyone, Darth Bane is completed and I just took my first application photos here!!!

Belt boxes are made using guitar pic guard material and electronics are installed.

Hey everyone! A quick update. I have only a few minor things to do and Darth Bane will be done!! (Pending CRL approval) So I have decided to share with you a photo of what I have so far together.

Just completed the belt buckle. I found a wholesaler who sold me 5 blank buckles with a ridge along the edge that fit perfectly. For the detail pieces in the buckle I took ABS plastic from my current Clone Trooper build, cut the shapes out and painted them a metallic color as well as painted the recesses of the buckle to be darker in color.

Shoes are completed and the laces have be properly covered up.

Unlike most characters in Star Wars, Darth Bane does not wear boots, but something more like shoes. Recently found some shoes at my local thrift shop that have a similar shape to Bane's. I'm going to attempt something I've never done and lay down new layers of leather over the seams to match the reference.

The leather torso piece and gauntlets have arrived from a dear friend of mine. First test pics with it. (Please ignore the messy room lol)

I've finished the base painting and fabrication of the mantle blades as well as installed the chest lights with red LEDs.
