    Your build is progressing nicely!! For feedback regarding the jeans, you can reach out to the Garrison Membership Liaison (GML) of your local 501st garrison as they will be the one who will approve your costume, and get their thoughts. If you're on FB, you could also try posting on the Ladies of the Legion FB group -- a few GMLs/Dr Aphras are in there.

    I don't know anything about the fading... I will let more seasoned Aphras speak to that Re: the zippers - I think the belt and bottom of the vest should cover up at least the top one. The lower one may depend on where it hits you - it might also be covered?

    This is so exciting!! Congratulations on beginning your build. Finding plain grey/steel blue jeans was a bit of a challenge for me, too... I didn’t realize how common the bleached/faded accented look was until I started looking for Aphra. I’d be curious too to see how noticeable it is on those pants you linked. Excited to see your build come together!!
