    What material is the skirt and tabard made from? The CRL says “raw silk” but as I learned tonight there are many kinds of silk.

    Looking at this with the revamped vest I'm not happy with the size of the pauldrons. I spent too many years doing full contact medieval fighting and inadvertently made them functional but not visually correct as far as the cartoon goes. I ran into the with the abdominal armor. I was trying to use plates because, well, it's armor and you must have rigid protection.

    My TK kit has been ordered so in the meantime I've started working on a Savage costume. The horns are cast and ready for paint. I have the pauldrons cut out but paint has to wait on other armor bits.
