  1. I don´t have a solid pattern, you can use more or less any tunika pattern as the one above and then makes the adjustments
  2. You´re welcome - glad to be able to assist I totally agree with Lorelei - you need to contact the seller and get her to redo the outerdress and gloves - you´ve paid for a approvable costume, and the seller was fully aware of the corrections needed.
  3. As already mentioned - no wrap unless you mean the pleats ? One V-opening in front from the shoulders to the waist and it stops at the belt. There are pleats from the shoulders all the way down to the floor on the front of the dress in both sides of the skirt, and there shall be some gathering of the fabric on the back of the lower skirt but not like the pleats in front.
  4. Hello greetings from Denmark We did have a run of this patch, but it was only for our Academy members - next time we do one, I´ll pass the information to this board to Perhaps one of our members still have one for trading ? sadly all of mine have been traded/gifted away. Cheers
  5. Hi and welcome to the forum Oh this look very interesting - going to follow this one, as I also love the look on these
  6. Hi greetings from Denmark Well, better late then never - being a single mum with two boys, I know about not always having enough time LOL
  7. It looks really odd and some places it is smeared... These are the patterns that are used for the pinwheels, which can also be found here on the forum. Don´t know, what she is doing, but it do not look right.
  8. Hi welcome to the forum I have not seen a newer WA COFT, but if he has redone the robes/tunics and they follow the CRL as stated here : http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:SL_darth_nihilus then it should be okay as long as it fits you. Regarding the mask - yes, for the COFT version, it needs to be a skull like mask, and it only have 2 ovals on either side of the center oval. Boots, I have large calves too and it is a real pain to find a good pair of boots - since your cape and robes will cover your boots on the backside, you can ask your GML team if they will allowe it, since it is okay to have a zipper on the back. Lightsaber is not needed for approval - I did a quick google search and found this one : https://www.etsy.com/dk-en/listing/557189726/star-wars-kotor-custom-darth-nihilus?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=darth+nihilus+lightsaber&ref=sr_gallery-1-1&referring_page_type=market&pro=1
  9. Hi I made the wimple out of thin lycra, so it didn´t get so hot and could breathe, then the wig and the headpiece - as already mentioned, it could affect the fit, if your wimple is being cut out. Advice - try with a normal wimple and the a cut out to see, if it would work - though I haven´t had problems with being to hot here in Denmark
  10. Hi and welcome to the forum - I really enjoy your pics and progress on this build, very nicely done
  11. That is great news, she is aware of the changes needed and will provide pics for you during the progress - then I would say go for it
  12. Uhh x fingers - do have in mind, that many of our Legion members are at Celebration Chicago, so there can be a longer answering time
  13. Hi and welcome Your links doesn´t work, so it is a bit hard to check up on those items, that you´ve found - could you please put them up again ?
  14. Welcome I am not sure, if you missed to put in a link to show off your progress ??
  15. Hi and welcome to the detachment. When I made my Traya (now retired/sold) I got my saber custom made by Hamptons, because I could not find any saber firm, that had one. I am not sure, if there are any right now, but you do not need the saber for approval, since it is an optional accessorie. Unless you troop at a canon event, you can use any saber with a red blade, if your EC allowes it - but yes, a saber, that looks like the one on the CRL : http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:SL_traya , will be best. Perhaps we have a member or more, who can chip in regarding a place to buy the saber ??
  16. Hi I would like to make a proposal to a change for the CRL Darth Traya : CRL states : Makeup Light colored makeup is used to create a pale skinned look. The lipstick is dark grape or burgundy in tone. There are pink toned shadows under the eyes. A light charcoal gray color runs from the lashes lines to eyebrows. The eyebrows are gray-black in tone, and are darker than the hair. Proposal : Makeup Light colored makeup is used to create a pale skinned look. The lipstick is dark grape or burgundy in tone. There are pink toned shadows under the eyes. A light charcoal gray color runs from the lashes lines to eyebrows. The eyebrows are gray-black in tone, and are darker than the hair. Light colored makeup may be used to create a pale skinned look on the right hand. Ref.pics can be found already here : Looking forward to hear, what you all think about this
  17. Hi greetings and welcome to the forum I am actually in the work of making a proposal to change the CRL for Darth Traya and add the coloring of her hand as a level 2, but for now - no to the coloring for a basic approval, normal skin tone is fine
  18. Hello Welcome to our forum - I have see a couple of Visas Marr costumes from this vendor and sadly there are some problems regarding it. First, as Blane already stated, the sleeves are not long nor open enough, the grey stripes on the gloves are to dark, the veil is also not formed right - the forhead piece is to high. The pinwheel pattern looks odd, as if the paint has smeared out and it is to dark in color. If you look at one of the other buyers of this costume, it does nok look as the one on the sale post, which is made several years ago, when the owner was approved in the RL + I know of one, who has bought one from her last year, that is also made in a different way. As you can see on this pic (other buyer), the veil is off - it should lay flat and not have the fold around the face, the pinwheel pattern is different, the sleeves on this one seams to be too open/big, gloves has different silver lines + does not fit at all. If you can get her to make the sleeves on the innerdress (as on the pic in the sale thread) longer and a bit more open, that would work + the veil needs to get the forhead made smaller, it is to high. The outerdress - well, if the pattern can be more sharp in the lines + in a bit lighter grey color, that could work. Perhaps you can ask her about these things and see, if she is willing to redo the pieces ? http://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:SL_marr_unseen
