  1. After a little search I actually found these that would work, sorry about the long link - e bay 😉 : https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/390580000949?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20201210111314%26meid%3D52c790fc835a46f2a9e09e8509152856%26pid%3D101195%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D393074127785%26itm%3D390580000949%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D0%26pg%3D2047675%26algv%3DSimplAMLv9PairwiseWithPLXWeb&_trksid=p2047675.c101195.m1851&amdata=cksum%3A39058000094952c790fc835a46f2a9e09e8509152856|enc%3AAQAGAAACAOdR4TwBxldWR0J%2B8OtAB6NhDJS8pRddeE7TwFQCAjiRXNXEEtfBd%2FrZMnSPYzv9288IKtLUq1vs%2BerSMqSivXRBqLsPVWIjtkjWmElY07R00Ilzuv6AwEtq53pFoqUVBApzEYHzO6Ghz3XFMJeh0%2FuF6HCTu%2BXi7DimiYRmxzvD4mTe850QEfTQzXsTdQK2QACV5m5WdHnSlInTTHwwU8wAAUh%2BXuNcK9HvJIM92x6%2BxoH%2FT5OjLy5fMWFY88OqGnujVdUF37n06PdlXgTZntdeHcr68UKHid96S1tiD4GCme98apHXjZGmhS1F86T7wQhtVeIuLrOfrE%2FdaIn%2Bf6sxelv0y4xc%2F%2Fo5ww0UjwHojaVDE8EHyg33ECHOrxyWVwTN5O4IJIC8bdPLXu%2FXr301GGMKiCJlwjT4KUj8Vflmwbdh1EMc6l9UxFSJMx6YIxBMyLuT%2F4S6QeZvrVpBGRvQsfEoZVQsDJeoGJ939irVgiRQ18zvK9cHVMOyF%2Fnn3ZkHS1Ymu%2BVb9DOwCuPsMDgOeG7uWlhxZ%2BuuD2nhGiFcDNQ%2FdRcbjtK4%2F0%2FhOrGksKS3wCy2HepOxXFAjuM%2BGdKDW34CHXFtubnqZ%2F8s%2BOxAisxcz%2F%2BhNL8wx0EtggZQeQ3CLFzwsSuGqlVgH%2FicuejvG2i1h%2F5cUhSvClDPnE6s|ampid%3APL_CLK|clp%3A2047675
  2. It can be a bit tricky to find all the parts, perhaps one in here with the KOTOR version can help with a vendor for the gloves ? I have the coft version, where the gloves are a bit different.
  3. Hi As to the CRL, that you can see here : https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:SL_darth_nihilus-kotor the gloves needs to be free of straps, buckles, snaps, or extra decoration, so unless you can remove the bindings, then they are sadly a no go.
  4. Very nice, much better with the tunic - do remember to put the cape up over the shoulders and down the back as stated in the CRL. I use a snap on each shoulder to hold it in place - good luck on your approval.
  5. It looks better, but I still think the eye sockets are to big and the groove around the edge on the silver design has to be removed. The nose looks better and so do the cheekbones, though they still look a bit sharp/pointed at the sides, could be the angle that the picture is taken. It looks like you´re 3d printing it yourself and has the ability to redesign it - is it possible for you to take the mask from the CRL and set them aside ? that way you can see the difference better.
  6. If you take a look at the CRL here : https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:SL_darth_nihilus , your mask is sadly not looking like that. The eye holes are to big, the silver design is not supposed to have a submerged groove around the edge like yours have, and the cheekbones are to pointed if you look at it from the front + they are not skull like enough, when you look at it from the side. The black mask should also have its nose through the nose of the white mask, which yours doesn´t seem to do, because the hole is to small. I had to redo my 3d printed mask to get it to look more like a skull for exampel, I had to resculp the cheekbones and the eye sockets, before I could get it approved. Small corrections also to your costume, your sleeves needs to be either pulled down in your gloves or sewn in, so they doesn´t puff at the elbows., your belt looks to be wider then the approximately 5 cm and your obi then also is to wide + your outer tunic needs to be shorten, as it is much to long. And it is hard to see, but do you have 2 tunics and two skirts ? and a picture from the back and sides would also be nice, to see the costume from all sides. I love your action photo, nice effects on that I know, it is no fun to hear that there needs to be made corrections to ones costume, if you want to join the Legion with it, but we are here to help and assist in every way we can.
  7. In my opinion, the mask looks a bit odd in its shape - @DarthValkyria ?
  8. Congratulations - what a great costume, you look amazing
  9. Hi I made mine in one piece - as to a pattern, I havent found one yet, so I just winged it... you can see my build here : https://www.theflagshipeclipse.com/forums/index.php?/topic/3864-wip-nihilus-coft/ It is a bit hard to explain but I put velcro inside the vacumformed hood, sewed velcro on the fabric, attached it and then pulled it over the hood and down the back. For the front of the hood, I sewed in a piece of fabric to hide the gape between the form and the mask, I made the knot in front at the chest and shortened the cape, done.
  10. Indeed it is - I am fascinated by how many things you can make with a 3d machine. Thank you so much, that is really nice of you - right now, he is printing place cards holders for my youngest sons confirmation in April, which is kept in Jurassic Park/World theme one of our friends made the file for us.
  11. My son got a Ender printer when he turned 18, so he is in the learning steps at the moment but he did print a couple of things, like pokemon figures for his younger brother and christmas ornaments for his old mum You just write her a message here on the forum - you can find her profil under "Staff" or use this link and she will get back to you : https://www.theflagshipeclipse.com/forums/index.php?/profile/174-darthvalkyria/
  12. That looks great - really looking forward to seeing how it turns out as an actual 3d print. As to being an approved 501st. file, we would need to get our DL Nina to take a look and give the ok - it would be an amazing resource for others to be able to get the "right" shaped mask for a 3d print, and thank you so much for putting the work into doing this
  13. This one is better - is it possible to get the checkbones under the eyes to be a bit more outgoing or will they be when printed ? you can see it on my mask here before and after - I had to do it by hand, I am no good with a 3d printer LOL - but it looks like you can, so that print file would be a great help for others doing the Nihilus, since there is no correct 3d file that I know of yet :
  14. Much better, nicely done - and good idea to see, how it will look with the boots on, though I suspect you´ll still need to shorten it a bit
  15. Hi good to see, that you haven´t given up on this You´ll need to shorten the skirt though, as it is only to nearly touch the ground - you also need to fold the fabric in and sew down along the split, so the white lines at the fabric edge are hidden, since there shouldn´t be any fraying of the fabric there. On the pic from the CRL you can see what I mean : looking forward to seeing your progress. As a side note, please make sure, that your mask is up to date, the mask you have pictures of here, will need mods to get approved. I have the same one, and I needed to sand down the two lines over the eyes and resculpt the cheekbones/area around the eyes to make it more scull like as the pic from the CRL here :
  16. It is of course sad, that you don´t have time now to make the small adjustments, and it is also sad, that you haven´t written a pm to me, as I do what I can to be active daily on the boards, even though it is the Holidays. I would say, that your GML is very nice to have put your pics up on the Legion Board on the 25th. - some GML´s don´t take approvals in at this time of the year due to many being with family and enjoying the Holidays. I answered him on the 26th, since I am in Denmark and there is a time difference. My comments are the same to your GML, that I have written to you here - please do give me a pm, when you have done the corrections and I´ll give you a heads up before you put them in for approval. Again, I apologize for not having seen you asking for a review on your pics in this thread on the 19th of December and therefore not been quick enough to give you the comments then. No time has been wasted, but a bit more patience would perhaps be a good thing another time ? Happy Holiday...
  17. Sorry for not seeing this thread before, but it is the Holidays and we are all doing this on our free time, that said - no costume is approvable out of the box, neither is the WA, but yes, others have been approved with the WA after making adjustments. It would be nice to get a clear message as to what your GML told you to adjust, instead of you only writing :" Rejected flat out" and then "The Skirt, The Tunic, the Cape, and my Hood were inaccurate/incorrect" I can tell you, what I have noticed : You´ll need to adjust your cape to go over your shoulders and down the back (not down your arms), which is also stated in the CRL. To better keep the cape in place, you can put in some small snaps on the shoulders, it is an easy fix but it makes a worlds difference. You´ll also need to shorten your cape and skirt, they are way to long - as pr CRL - "reaching nearly to the floor", yours are dragging on the floor. Is your outer tunic padded ? it needs to be pr the CRL : "The outer layer consists of a somewhat fitted sleeveless tunic with a layer of heavy padding hidden under the fabric of the chest area. High loft quilt batting or a more rigid material may be used to create the padded look of the tunic chest. The outer fabric is not sewn to the base of this padding; instead it hangs loosely over the stomach." On the back, you need to make sure, that the hood covers the closure on the cape, but that is more a dressing issue - you can put in velcro, so it stays put when trooping. It is small adjustments and easy to fix, and I´m looking forward to seeing you approved, when done - hope this helps, and again, sorry for not seeing this thread right away, but I have been enjoying Christmas and the Holidays with my kids, which I suspect the rest of the staff and members also has.
  18. That is awesome, glad to see, that the costume stays in the Legion - looking forward to have you here Good luck on your approval
  19. Sad to see you two go - wish you all the best
  20. This is a beautiful costume, very well done
  21. So sorry to hear that, do you have any pictures of your costume ? and what did your GML point out was the reason as to why it was denied ? that way it is easier for us to help you.
  22. Very nice work when you get the the skirts and cape adjusted in lenght the fabric looks like it will flow very well. You will need to hide the ends of the knot, I did it by sewing them behind the knot on the inside. And yes the tunics needs to cross left over right. Personally I would shorten the tunics bottom edge as it would be more as to the CRL ref. : https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:SL_darth_nihilus , so it sit a bit higher, and make sure the sleeves are straight, when you put them on, they are a bit twisted
  23. Looks nice, though you need to pull the cape over your shoulders and down behind your back, it is not correct like this. Good luck on the approval.
