  1. Hi Katie I bought the Pebeo touch textile paint on tubes - but I just can´t get it to look right. I´ve tried with both the tube and with a pensel. Yes and thanks, it was very nice of you Oki - I´ll just finish my new idea and see, how it will Work. I´ve drawn the pattern on a gold fabric and then cut it out - then I´ll transfer it to the dress and veil with textil glue. Pics will come later Hugs
  2. Hi and welcome The belts color looks nice. I made a Nihilus COFT for my friend, so if you need some advise just me a pm. Cheers
  3. Little update... I´m having huge problems with the pattern on the veil and sleeves... is it okay, if I find a golden embroid lace with a smiliar pattern to sew on, or shall the pattern be exactly like the one on the pics ? I´ve bought some fabric golden paint, but I just can´t get it to work on the fabric Any help are more then welcome....
  4. It´s amazing Katie ! Thank you so much - you´ve done an awesome job on this too Can´t wait to get this one finished and approved. Big hugs
  5. Hi Great new look ! How does this new ranking system work ? I´m listet as an Acolyte - what does that mean ? Cheers
  6. Hi I´ve just helped a friend too getting his Nihilus COFT approved, and I used a normal smooth and thin cotton fabric, just adding padding inside and there you go. Otherwise the sleeves will be too thick and warm Cheers
  7. Hi Thanks I just used a pattern of a normal a-line dress for the inner dress and made the sleeves with the normal pattern, just streching it out to get the "wing"sleeves. It´s a great outfit, and I´m really looking forward to getting this one finished... I´ve a bad back, so my Biker scout armor isn´t so comfortable after an hour or so, so I wanted to get an outfit, that wasn´t with a lot of armor and still look awesome for the kids to see. I´m sure, that you will get a lot of help for this build, and perhaps you can talk Katie into making you one too
  8. So update... The gloves are finished... The inner dress needs to get the sleeves and length right + needs the golden pattern on the sleeves, but I´m happy with the inner dress The belt is also almost ready, only needs some snaps... So all in all - almost there
  9. Thanks - I´ll give him your regards
  10. So sorry for not having updated this one... But my friend finally got his approval, so Denmark now has their own very first Darth Nihilus COFT version.
  11. Hi I´ve just seen the message now and WOW you´re absolutely an angel ! Thank you soo much for making this for me - I can´t wait to get it all put together and sent you the pics. He he yes, I´m still having nightmares about the veil - and I´m so happy, that you took the challenge on it. Again big thanks !! A lot of hugs Heidi
  12. Uhh sounds great He he ... I´m very happy, that I got you to make my outer dress and especially the veil - think I would have stabbed someone by now, if I was working on it Looking forward to hear more about your new idea for it - take care
  13. Hi Oki, this was only a test to see, if the paint was a go or no go - I´ve printet the pattern out in the right size and is going to draw it on the fabric first and then paint it. But I need to make sure, the size is right for the veil too, so I´m going to wait until I got it. I´ll make sure to do, as you say regarding the boarder lines thanks. How is things going ?
  14. Hi and welcome You found the right place to be at Looking forward to follow your build on this one.
  15. Had a go with the paint and a piece of fabric, and it was a hole lot better, then I expected... just need to get the pattern right before painting the sleeves...
  16. So, finally my mum and I got to make a proto cut of the pattern for the inner dress, and it turned out really good, so today we cut the pattern in the real fabric. Tomorrow my mum is going to help me sewing it together - just need a zipper for the back. Think the color is quite spot on
  17. Thanks Just returned from a weekend at Legoland Billund Denmark with Nordic Garrison and it was a blast !!!!! Can´t wait to next time See if I can get this one finished this week...
  18. Yes off course I´ll put up some new pics next week, since I´m going trooping at Legoland DK this weekend thanks for the comments
  19. Thanks He´s right now on redoing the weathering, since it as not so good. Thise pics are mostly just to see if we are heading the right direction. The sleeves are quilted and with ribs on them Super, I´ll make sure to get some better pics in front of a neutral wall, when he´s done with the weathering.
  20. This is how far, we have come... almost ready to do the approval pics... Still needs to get the weathering redone, since it´s right now to much like a "halloween" costume" at the botton of the outerskirt and cape... But other than that, how do you think it looks ??
  21. You need to take care of yourself Pam - the detachment aint going any where and we will all be here for you I personally just want to thank you very much for your advices and help, you´re truly an inspiration I hope that your decision will give you some peace to recover - I´m sure it will Hugs
  22. hi and welcome on board I too is in the making of the Visas Marr and I also had nightmares about the outerdress pattern, so I took a shortcut and got someone to make mine (from user: Aysel) But since you have a good knowledge about sewing, I don´t think it´s going to be a big deal for you - and I´m sure, that you will get a lot of help in here too. Have fun with your "build" - looking forward to follow it on the board. Greetings from Denmark Cheers
