I really like your build, it does give me some insight on what to do for my build, good idea for the gauntlet straps, I'm gonna try that route

I bought my kit from Kevin a few years ago... TC-9948 I believe and never finished it till recently. But since I'm a shorter and slim guy I wanted to share my WIP on how I am trying to make it fit for me. I put up some pictures of my progress here... http://www.theflagshipeclipse.com/forums/index.php?/gallery/album/194-imperial-knight-costume/

So, the straps were the hardest to connect cause the straps are so Long, so I kept with the 2 inch theme and just cut it off -

With the side cut, I brought it in closer, noticed the middle was off so I cut the top, middle piece off and extended it so it would be flush with the side -

Didn't show much of the back work with my bondo work, but it came out smooth. Just showing the difference compared to the Cape plate in size -

This is the only shot I had of the back piece, but I did the same thing to this as I did with the front, sooooo...off with 2 inches from the back -

Chest is done, sprayed primer to check for any imperfections. -

Again I am using ABS scraps to fill and the bondo to cover the imperfections. I'm using ABS cause I want my chest piece to flex cause I will be taking the piece off alot -

My chest piece was WAY to wide so cut about an inch from the left and right and pushed it back together...the pieces that I cut I used as the support for the chest pieces to connect together again -

Both side matched, but the middle was a bit wide so I melted some abs and filled the middle, I late red filled any pinholes with Bondo but this piece was done...for now!?! -

After cutting an inch off the sides didn't match so I trimmed half an inch off the top piece. -

I'm a short guy so the Ab plate had to be adjusted...off with an inch! -
