  1. Yep. It's pretty hard to make out any details with that blinding light behind you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I use the Funtasma Gotham boots. Pretty true to size. They started off a little tight by have stretched to better fit my feet since I've worn them a few times. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. The CRL is the best place to start. It'll give you a good idea of what's expected and all the different pieces you'll need. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. If you go to your Garrison page, they should have a tab for recruitment or something similar that identifies your GML. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Looks cool. Is it the mask or full helmet? I think I've heard of some full helmets being denied, but ultimately it's up to your GML. Have you talked with them about it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. For my hood/cape fabric, I used some black textured curtains from WalMart. $18 bucks and had plenty of fabric to work with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. If you want to scratch build, I used sintra for the armor and vambraces. You can usually get a 4x8 sheet for $50-60 and one sheet will make several costumes (I've made a Mando, Revan, and a couple other small items and I still have about 1/3 of a sheet left). I ended up sculpting, molding, and casting my own mask. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Howdy, Just applied with my newly completed Darth Revan out here in Idaho (Timberline Garrison). I started trooping with the garrison a couple years ago in my custom Mando armor and decided last year to embrace the Dark Side. Now that Revan is done, I'm working on Kylo Ren to add to my cosplay
  9. I used black curtains from Walmart for the hood and cape, and a tightly woven cotton for the hakama. The only problem I had was the hakama got so thick in places that it started breaking my needles, so I took it to the university costume shop to have them finish it.
