  1. It is not supposed to be wide unless you are doing the figure version, where as the mask does not go down as low over the upper lip and the red lines over the eyes are longer. If you see the photos I posted above, as well as the game screenshots below, of which some are the updated models for better detail. As you can see, very thin obi.
  2. It would pretty much be the "COTF Nihilus" version of Revan.
  3. It would need to be its own costume and all of the parts of the figure would need to be done (holes in skirt and cape, etc.).
  4. If you guys include your TKIDs when you register, then you get put to the right rank at approval, but it never hurts to double check!
  5. Yeah, definitely needs to be darker. Hopefully you can get a better red!
  6. Yeah, make a thread with your info and submission photos/reference photos in the sub forum. There are no posts currently in it.
  7. The easy answer is, Yes. The wording needs to be clarified a bit as it is technically correct at the 4cm for the KOTOR 2 game files, BUT the figure that they made that was based on the character had a belt more like the 4 inch one. It can be either version and still be legitimate as a KOTOR 2 Nihilus style. Images attached for reference. He is going through a CRL modification atm so it will be addressed accordingly here soon. Game file: Figure:
  8. Congrats and welcome! As Yankee said, don't forget to go here and request access to the Detachment member stuff http://www.theflagshipeclipse.com/forums/index.php?/topic/1660-501st-andor-detachment-access-requests/
  9. Looking great! I've been wanting to do a Mynock's Den Acolyte for a few years now, but life happens every time I get the $$.
  10. You can check here for references! http://www.theflagshipeclipse.com/forums/index.php?/topic/2325-darth-zannah/
  11. Since her entire back side is not visible, it is definitely going to be a struggle to get a complete idea of what it is supposed to look like, and therefore, questionable for approval. That being said, I would love to see you guys make the costume for your own intent vs just for 501st approval, and having the build threads here would help to get them to the best, "what we know so far" status with the help of our expert builders. This would also allow for slight modifications if full references are ever supplied, making the transition to approvable costume easier in the long run.
  12. If I can get you to post all of your completed build submission photos with you wearing the costume, and then the reference photos with them so the LMOs can compare easily here! http://www.theflagshipeclipse.com/forums/index.php?/forum/215-new-to-legion-costume-submissions/
  13. By make a post I mean include your photos and the reference photos for each aspect of the costume so they can compare and such!
  14. To make it easier on organization, when you are ready to start submitting to the Legion, please make a post here and it will make the LMOs job much easier! http://www.theflagshipeclipse.com/forums/index.php?/forum/215-new-to-legion-costume-submissions/
  15. It is a split skirt, not a hakama as it says. Hakama wrap around the legs and his does not. Also, as you stated, it should be a box pleat and not a knife pleat as it states, and should go all the way up to the armor, which ends at the hips. No waist band should be visible, though you can have one and wear it higher than the armor (at the waist) so that you can wear the split skirt properly.
  16. Beware purchasing Sith Acolyte masks from John Clark, aka Galaxy Creations. He has been selling recasted masks of another artist. He has already been black listed from several props forums.
  17. As soon as we can get to it, I would love for you to put any input (including this!) into getting it accurate and up to date. It shouldn't be too long, but the CRL team is working hard to get things rolling.
  18. Woohoo! Excited to see how this comes out. I will say, definitely go with a more varied sleeve pleat than the red kylo pictured if that is the method you plan to use, and definitely a darker, more rich red.
  19. If there is an existing CRL on the 501st site that needs updating or rewriting, post the original here in the default text color that shows up on desktop mode. Any corrections or changes will be written below each specific area in yellow to portray the corrections. If you are commenting on the edits proposed in yellow, copy them to your comment, use the strike through to take out what you are editing, and put the new edit proposals in red next to it. Here are the edits to the proposed edits made by the CRL Officer that can be made by anyone in the detachment. Anyone can propose changes, but supply reference images for exactly what you are questioning. For CRLs that have no text, omit the original text and follow the same procedure.
