On quick inspection, there are discrepancies between the chest details, shoulder armor, and boots. I didn't look super close at the rest, but those would need to be changed to match references if she were to apply.

There are several things they would need to be updated before it could pass, but if they're interested in getting it approved, we could talk.

Here are the results for the last several costume request votes by LMOs for assignment to TFE: Darth Talon (Galaxy of Heroes) - pass Marrok - pass The Great Mothers - pass Morgan Elsbeth - pass Joorus C'Baoth - fail (not 501st eligible) Baylon Skoll - pass for 501st inclusion, still awaiting vote for TFE or SLD. Shin Hati - pass for 501st inclusion, still awaiting vote for TFE or SLD. This means that any future submissions for those that have passed will not need to go through another vote and will just need to be submitted for approval of the costume as a New to the Legion (NTTL). It is TFE policy to not start an official CRL of requirements until we have an approved costume as the intent is to get the costumer to build to the references with a WIP and guidance instead of building to text. Generally, CRLs have a habit of pigeon-holing people prior to a build. No matter how well you word a CRL, it will always be less accurate than the references, and it is my stance that we should build using the 100% accurate reference to get a realistic 90%+ accuracy first costume to use in the CRL. Strive for reference with realistic application. At some point, SLD and TFE will need to sit down and hash out what our designations and new character assignment details will be, as the definitions are becoming more and more hazy as releases come. Both Detachments will be working with LMOs over this, and I will keep you updated as to what that will mean/result in. Rest assured that the TFE team will do our absolute best to represent our Detachment and ensure that we are given equal stance in opportunity for new characters as your representatives.

Mercenary doesn't automatically mean UW as it isn't necessarily scum and villainy. Think more along the lines of gang and cartel, who would possibly hire the mercenaries.

Nope. They did the vote for 501st inclusion and that passed, but SLD requested before the series so know they're voting on assignment (just got the email literally 10 minutes ago).

They still need to vote. It's a 72 hour hold from an episode until we can submit (have submitted) and once they receive it and get it set up, it's a 7 day vote within LMO. I'll probably hear something middle of the week after this one.

Just a quick update on what's going on with the detachment stuff since it's been a quiet period (not always a bad thing!). 1. We're actively designing merch for a racing shirt, patch, and coin themed for KOTOR 20th based on votes. These will come in the next few months. It is slow due to lack of artists available and, well, life. 2. We're working on 3 New to the Legion CRLs/costumes currently that we're hoping to be released before the end of the term in Feb after updates to the costumes are finished. 3. We were told by LMOs that we had to wait until the end of the season of Ahsoka before submitting requests for assignment of the costumes. But, after the short, "please don't spoil the episode for us" request time, we're submitting for Shin, Baylan, Morgan, Marrok, and all 3 Great Mothers to be assigned to TFE. 4. We're still looking for artists and a new Programs Officer if you're interested/able to assist the Detachment! If you have any other requests or ideas, please feel free to comment or message me!

Apologies! I did not receive any notifications about this! I would absolutely love to have this one added! I can send this off to LMO for a vote to see if they deem it eligible (don't see any issues, but you never know) with the references supplied. It takes about a week for them to vote.

I would leave it to the group for now as we don't have assigned Det for them as of yet.

20th anniversary means it would be a design based around the 20th anniversary of KOTOR. The design isn't completed but we want an idea before committing to building the design because each design costs is money. The multi approved characters means multiple character options.

Looking like someone or something is no bearing for eligibility. The LMO's voted overall no due to the following: "So we have put it to the vote and the vote has failed for 501st inclusion. Feedback/comments included: “Jedi who was a bit extreme but still a Jedi.” “Character-wise though, even in darkness his motivation was to save the Jedi. He wanted the Order to thrive. He went about it in a very bad way, but his intent was to preserve them. I don't think that puts him as a good logical fit for us.” Although some did argue for his inclusion so it wasn’t just one way. “If you read the whole story, his motivation was to overthrow the Empire and take over the galaxy himself .. Plus he 'dark side' bled his saber crystal. A definite 'dark side' trait.” We also discussed how it could be done safe and looking good with no arm. Other options where mentioned: “There are images of this character 'force' projecting a right arm via telekinesis (like a force ghost) that could in theory be used as a way around a missing limb. Kinda like the 'force ghost' characters portrayed at conventions.” So overall it was an open debate with different views but ultimately the majority vote was a no sorry."

I recommend making your own mock-up with muslin to find your specific measurements for it. The variation between shoulder width, neck length, and skull size mean everyone will have a different size necessary for a custom pattern.
