  1. The face mask looks too wide. Look side by side with screen shot for better representation. This looks like some kind of 3D print?
  2. Is there enough heel on the boots? They are a bit high on the pics I've seen and the red stripe you got to add goes across the bottom of the sole and top of the heel.
  3. Yea the disney costume has alot of inaccuracies. Does look like the eye slots and surrounding eye "trench" and such were all based off the Disney mask and not the actual show's design.
  4. The eyes/visor area are all wrong. There is no indentation across the eyes like that. The eye slits also are shaped wrong, they are supposed to be sloped at a downward angle, they do not cut into the bottom of the mask. Also missing the indents on the forehead. This is a good clear close up of the mask details and how the eyes are supposed to look. https://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/a/a9/7th-Sis-and-5th-Bro-clash.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20160110094939
  5. Glazing putty is your friend for quick fixing little air holes and pockets in molds and abs paste.
  6. I would just use super glue to be honest. Most two part bracers and such for armor kits like on TK's we use super glues on, cured much quicker and strong enough. E6000 works better on parts that might have a some flex to them, as it doesn't turn hard and brittle like super glue can. Bracers should slide on and off, so super glue works best, I personally love gorilla glue brands, super strong.
  7. It varies scene by scene. The arms also flex in the show, so accuracy is not 100% on using the plastic armor, the models in the show are not stiff armor, the Clones in Clone Wars had same issue in that you had armor flex and twist in some scenes, something real armor can't do. Same image on the right arm you can see she has more than enough room for elbow flex https://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/b/b5/Seventh_Sister.png/revision/latest?cb=20161107033246
  8. Accurate length for armor is really based on the person wearing the armor. If the arms are too big for you wife, then cut them to fit her. The arms have no special curve for the elbow so you should probably have the whole end trimmed down to match. Sister on the show has ample elbow room to move, so if needed trim your wife's armor down.
  9. Belt looks fine, lot of the buckles I've seen people use are way to big looking compared to the show references, the buckle was not that big. Yea there should be the smaller belt loop on the side which is where the saber is supposed to attach to. We made a small belt loop extension that velcros underneath the main belt. The CRL is kind of a mess, it was posted up with conflicting wording and pictures of the model used, and there is stuff that I think is still wrong and has been discussed. Really best thing to do is talk directly to your GML for what they say on these things, as right now we are seeing Sister's being passed depending on how the GML sees it, and not exactly like the CRL shows or states.
  10. My wife's bracers have no seam, like our TK bracers, she can slip them on and off, you got to make the wrist cuff area wide enough for your hand to get through and out of. Wife's sister was made before the CRL was posted, and in the show there was no seams on the legs or arms, so she built hers to be seamless, but then the CRL came out and they said seams are ok.
  11. The armor should never become "soft", if so you've heated it way too much. Using a heatgun and flexing it to shape and hold several times slowly is safest way to mold. The arms on that armor are massive for a woman, ton of work has to be done to make them fit sadly. If you do close up the seam on one side, you have to be very careful if you are leaving one side open to put on and off, as the "sealed" seam side can crack over time.
  12. The approved 7th Sisters were done before Jawa Chop Shop put out any armor. So painted on will be fine.
  13. Bo Katan for the CRL, they just added an optional helmet less section to the crl, they didn't make a new one.
  14. For those who have asked about the sabergaurd for the 7th sister, the wife is making the file for sale now, or printing on a limited basis, if you are interested you can contact her or read about it here: http://www.501st.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=89688 Also made the greebles and belt buckle items which are part of her approved 7th Sis
  15. I agree that it should be armor, and not a soft material. Hence the boots in the CRL being a soft material is odd when it says othewise. Even if a CRL is just a guideline to go off of and not super strict, the crl wording and pictures should not be contradicting still. The Disney one has a few minor issues I think, but overall good. Also the costume seems to be slightly different depending on park she appears in, and also they might have multiple copies of the costume in each park, as there is slight differences between them. Like in the above pic, the shoulder blade details on the armor are missing, it was same in Orlando, but then later they had the sister with the shoulder blades added.
