  2. Hello,
I'm sorry to interrupt, but I'd have a question. I'm from the Czech Republic and I'm going to my first costume. And I could not choose anything simpler than Darth Malgus :-)
And apparently it looks like you have this costume too. Can I ask you for some tips, tips, tricks or some more detailed instructions? :-)
Thank you in advance for any advice or help :-)

    Bye

      Imperial Hail, Darth Malgus 1438,

I am looking into information on specs and certain gear to get , assembly (Boot guard, shin straps, Chest peace, arm peaces etc etc...)

Is there any experienced info you could kindly pass me so that I can start making orders !

Hope to hear from you!.....Jawa Killer (DZ19290) G.G. SWSQ (Arma Candida)

  4. I researched the masks myself before applying for 501st. Clearly the choice for masks are yours. I can only say that even trooping in my set up (which is VERY friendly) I still sweat a ton. I have done cold arena's, outside, and AC'd cons. Keeping the mask attached is always an issue. And that style of mask would make it even hotter and more difficult. And no matter what you may think, in order for that mask to look right it HAS to be glued around your eyes. Otherwise it makes the whole "look" seem unrealistic. No offense to anyone that may go the full pullover mask route, but without glue on the eyes it's very easy to tell it's a mask due to the eye separation. I don't mean to sound snobby. I just think if we all spend $100's-$1,000's on these builds, we all clearly have passion about what we do. And wouldn't want to settle for an unglued mask as the "final touch" to what no doubt will be an amazing build. Best of luck and if I can help anyway let me know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I know this is an old topic but if you ever need assistance or ideas with parts.. I can help.
  6. Not a big fan of that mask. But that's just my opinion. It will require a ton of prep to keep it glued to your face during troops. And it doesn't let ANY airflow to your skin during those troops. A problem I have encountered during any hot troop. I just uses a sculpted bald cap and a forehead prosthetic to keep in true to Malgus. Again, just my two cents.
  7. Will enjoy following this build. Interested in seeing what you come up with for the bracers. I have been wanting new ones for mine...
  8. Hello everyone. I thought I posted here last year but perhaps I did not. I am SL-14381 of the tampabay squad in sunny Florida. I joined as Darth Malgus last August and as best I can tell I have the only approved Malgus in the US. Some of my armor parts came from wicked armor and the rest of my suit has been commissioned by many different talented artists. I'm especially proud of the custom leather under suit I commissioned through a local costume designer. Anyway, I'm hoping to be granted further access to post so I may be of assistance to anyone else asking questions about a solid Malgus Build. I'm very proud to be a member of this community and happy trooping to us all! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
