NCSoft and Amazon Games launched Throne and Liberty last year garnering a pretty decent following despite its “mixed” user review score. Perhaps it’s because the developer continually supports the free-to-play MMORPG with consistent updates that add a plethora of new content, improvements, and bug fixes to keep players interested. A new update is releasing today for the game, and it’s the first since its free expansion called Wilds of Talandre launched last week.

Arguably the most exciting feature coming to Throne and Liberty via Update 2.1.0 is Nebula Island. This new area is where players can fight each other across its distinct map. The island consists of a central zone and six different regions, four of which always have PvP enabled. It also features hourly events, periodic field boss battles, and new accessory system Artifacts. The “interserver actvity” is available to players who have reached level 55 and can be found in the Secret Dungeons’ Lawless Wilds tab. Additionally, the update includes two new solo bosses, two new 3-star dungeons, and other improvements and bug fixes.

Throne and Liberty players can expect a pretty lengthy maintenance period when the update goes live today, at 10:30 P.M. PT. It is expected to to be down for 7.5 hours.
