Has there been any new developments on this? I'd love to see a more complete "mock up" CRL (yes, I know there won't actually BE a CRL until the first person is approved) if there is one floating about.

Remember to read the whole thing Robert has posted about that costume. The requirements have changed since he made that pattern, so there WILL be some alteration work to do on your part. Just wanted you to know up-front that this wasn't an off-the-shelf/ready-to-troop costume. None of his are; but they are a GREAT starting point. Robert did a good portion of my Nihilus, because I'd ended up with my eyelids sewn to my ankles or something equally horrible if I tried to do it.

LOL Pam, I've also got a lot of crap, including my mattress, crammed into the kitchen and garage. So I get an obstacle course too!! Yay? Well, at least I'll know where my towel is The skirt actually does have a waistband, but I think the addition of a drawstring will do it wonders since its just being held up by the obi and a saftey pin at the moment. If I'm looking at the CRL pic correctly, the outer layer tunic is also tucked into the skirt/obi? Cheers, Bruce

Figured it was time to show off all of what I've gathered so far and get peoples' opinions. I do apologize for both the crappy pics and the state of my house. My friends and I had just emptied out the place so I can have my floors redone...after which was when I discovered my camera's battery had gone flat and the charger was somewhere in the cargo container in my driveway. I'll stick some better ones up once the camera is good to go; I'm sure its flash (with the power of 12 suns, mind you) will make things more visible. In these pics I'm wearing my UnderArmor shirt from my TK rig, as I'm still waiting on the correct tunics. Also think I need more gathering in the skirt, but thats just a matter of adjustment as there's plenty of fabric. There is an obi around my waist, just might not be able to see it. The cape kept sliding off my shoulders, but obviously that'll change with the new tunics. Going to run some small Velcro strips through the gathered material of the cape, then pass them through button holes at the top of the outer tunic so they appear attached AND stay in place Looking to replace these gloves: Boots Apparently my big toe shows its approval

I know a guy whos doing some resin casts. I think he's charging 40 for the Nihilus saber, but I'm not 100% positive on that. If you're interested I can PM you his information.

I got it from the same guy who made the white mask. Its just a simple black, thin plastic face piece with blackout fabric over the eye openings. Then I glued a couple bits of velcro onto the back side at the temples and their corresponding bits onto a balaclave. The Nihilus mask is velcroed to the hood and has an elastic string to tie behind my head. Sorry I couldn't help more. Perhaps these pics can assist you. Front Back Balaclava

It looks to me like your stripes are a little too wide and perhaps a touch too bright. Also, it seems like your mask is white-white and I was under the impression it should be more bone-white. But it could just be the lighting... This is my mask (three cheers to Robert from MWA); I'm still working on the inner and outer tunics. Off the hood: On the hood:
