  1. Hello Your observation is correct, the hood needs work to fit the part from Pam - I have the same one and I worked the hood around it and used velcro to have it stay in place. It will not fit with already made cat-ears on the fabric, when the seller didn´t have the part to work with. The pic comes up very blurry for me, so I am having a hard time to see the other details, but do remember also, that the cape is not allowed to go out over the arms like you have right now. You will need to put snaps or velcro on your shoulders and cape for it to sit right and get it to go up over the shoulders and down the back. I am also unsure about your gloves, on your right arm it looks like the glove isn´t formfitted but flares out ? perhaps it is just the way you stand. And I can´t see if the sleeves are quilted ? The outer skirt looks a bit off as to the CRL, that you can find here : Costuming:SL darth nihilus - Databank (501st.com) For us to give the best help, a picture of each part of the costume and pics of you suited up in natural lighting without the saber light will be appriciated - front/back/left/right side pictures But all in all, you´re almost there
  2. I did a lot of mods to the mask, and I can´t find the file anymore, but this one can be used as the base, if you make the adjustments like I did and reshape the eyes and chins : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4972375
  3. As David already mentioned to you, it is your Garrisons GML team, that you will need to mail the application too first - you can also ask your squad leader for the mail address. Good luck
  4. Your GML team is where you will need to send your application, and they will make sure to send it to the Legion for final approval. From what I can see, your cape is to long it shall not touch the floor, and you need to gather it more at the shoulders, it shouldn´t go out over your arms like yours do, but up over your shoulders and down the back. If you look at the CRL model, you will get an idea on, how it should look. Do you have padding on the chest area ? Your skirt also need to have a more gathered look like the CRL model, yours do not have any and shorten the lenght as it also shall not touch the floor. And I am a bit worried about the large opening on your hood, but it can be a dressing issue ? All in all you have done a great job, just the last finishing touches and you´re good to go
  5. @DarthValkyria guess this one is one for you
  6. There is no embargo on making a costume - if you can provide the reference pictures of the costume from all sides incl. details and such, it should be good to go. You can also message our DL @DarthValkyria and ask on how to
  7. Sorry for the late respons, didn´t get a notification No sadly I just don´t get to use it as much as I wanted to, and my son liked it, so it is a win for him - he got approved without issues, so that was nice for a change. I am in the making of another costume at the moment, but perhaps I´ll do another Nihilus at some point
  8. I have retirede my Nihilus costume and given my oldest son the suit - we have adjusted it and he has just send in pictures to our GML for approval - he wears it nicely
  9. It can also get more expensive, if one get things done and then will have to replace parts due to them not being correct. The link to files, that Nina has given you, is quality. Making costumes is not a cheap hobby, sometimes I wish it was - that is also why some costumes for myself is taking really long time to complete, because I need to save up money for parts.
  10. Very nice, really enjoy following your wip
  11. No that one looks to much like Vaders - I wouldn´t use it. This is the one from the CRL - you´ll need a plain silver colored one. The next picture is mine, that I got custom made for my Visas Marr, I used it on non-canon events when I still had my Traya. You´ll need something similar in style - metal/silver color, plain hilt.
