First costume

Hey guys I'm wanting to make a A'sharad Hett costume and I can't wait to get my hands dirty with it. I've pretty much got everything figured out EXCEPT the over tunic/over coat/ vest tabbard. Can anyone give me some pointers on how to make it myself? I'd rather make it by hand but if need be I will purchase from a vendor! Will begin posting wip pics once I get my materials on Friday

Hi Brendan,

i used an old linen shirt...for the over tunic...it was very long (over the knees) I cut it and used the rest to build the tunic.

So it means i sew this to the rest of the shirt...after that i coloured it dark brown..
