Yet another NW Florida Mara Jade

Hi all! I made my first Legion-approved costume (Sabine) last year, this time I think I'm finally be ready to tackle my dream 501st costume. I've been resisting, but I really want to do Mara's Choices of One gear. I know there are no standards yet and I've been keeping an eye on the build threads here. For now I'm just focusing on pieces I can use for either that or the classic black jumpsuit, in case I chicken out. I had a question about some of the props:

 

Her holdout blaster. Does it need to be the specific one in the CRL pics? I found a couple of others that I liked a little better (I believe they're modded Nerf guns,) and I was curious if something like that would get approved. CRLs only specifiy "a square-nosed holdout blaster":

My blaster is a Nerf-mod.

The Choices of One suit is cool. I might have to look into experimenting with my laser and craft foam to make those shoulder pads. I was working on the green suit ones. I have those almost done. Still working on getting my foam skills up. I just finished a blacksuit harness for a friend.
