I've ordered a mask blank from studio creations (the two piece mask appeals to me. No having to attach it to anything, as that didn't work so well during my tusken build. I'm going to try and sculpt some greeblies using sculpey, but I've also ordered a set in case it fails miserably...

Received greeblies in the mail... I'm also working on making my own set out of sculpey for future casting, and have been pretty successful, I'm just trying to wrap my head around the casting process. My mentor is suggesting wood sanded down with a belt sander for the tusks/blood spitters, but at least for the start, I am working in a medium I'm personally more comfortable in...

Received my greeblies and mask blank in the mail. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, so I probably won't do any work on it until this weekend.

QUICK rub with some rub n buff silver leaf to test out the stuff, and already they are looking AMAZING! Not fully coated by any means, but this stuff is great, and I used such a minuscule amount. $5 ($3 with coupon) for a tube easily beats any spray paint. So far the finish seems remarkably resilient, also. I've also decided I'll keep the greeblies shiny for this build, too.
