SW Rebels: Inquisitor

Ehm Hi,

My name is Davide aka AR/CC17992 from Italica Garrison.

I'm here to show you what I got in my dreambox :

With the help of other 2 italian garrison friends and a Make Up Artist, we'd like to bring to our next and big italian convention the INQUISITOR from Star Wars Rebels.

b244f4a17716a996e78ae72957c71c85deb95b54.jpg

We will make 2 versions of him.

One masked with his helmet on and another one unmasked with a mix of make up and prosthesis'.

In deep secret we made good progress and we are half way to complete it.

I'm a little amazed of the fact that not many other people thought about this costume.

Now, the biggest question is:

Where this character should stand?

What you guys think?

Am I in the right place?

Thanks in advance

Ciao

Davide

They flat out said in the interviews that the Inquisitor is NOT a Sith lord and that this is a new type of class of character. It would be silly to have him here or the Sith Lord detachment due to the fact he will be the first of many Inquisitors. They have told us that Inquisitors will be used in EP7 so I'm sure there will be many more to come. I would kindly suggest that this be a new detachment and class of character. If we had to choose a current detachment I would suggest Spec Ops Detachment as he meats the written definition of this group. "The Spec Ops detachment is home to many of the specialty troopers in the Legion: Shadow Scouts, Nova Troopers, etc..." This 2 cents will be cross posted. Thanks to all for the consideration of my opinion.

As far as I know only a guy made one but I don't think is approved.

As we still are here discussing about where it should belong.

Anyway i'm planning of making it and after to submit it for approval.

So far I can tell you that:

Prospethics and teeth are ready.

(Tomorrow i'll make a test fit)

Soft parts are ready

Hard armor is in the making

Lightsaber is in the making

Boots taken

I'll try to post pics as soon as I'll be at a good point.

As in fact i'm to scarred to not be ready for the end of the month.

i found this picture online

site link (wont let me use photobucket on it for some reason)

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ByBS32FCUAAGkUB.jpg:large

in my opinion this one isnt really 501st quality, for several reasons if i may include (i dont mean to be too harsh or trying to bash the person who made this costume) the chest plate looks like a card board trapezoid with the designs painted on, the pants stripe is too light, the mask is a 2 piece mask you can buy at walmart or at a holloween store, and the boots are knee high boots with what looks like paper or something similar at the ankles, oh and not correct lightsaber.

again im not trying to bash or hurt the owner of this pictures feelings, i was just stating what was on my mind. but an A for effort.

so back on topic someone has done this costume but not a 501st quality version.

so you might be the first!

p.s. im also making one for practical reasons, as i heard before the more people that do a certain costume the quicker it can become approvable. :))

Hi there,

Sorry for lack of replies.

Just keep working and working on it.

So:

I'd love to start saying something about this costume that we are making.

Pics will follow after the event of the end of October (Biggest Italian Con)

N.B:

This will not be the final version.

Let's say it'll be a beta to see how far we went and what we still are missing.

The final score is try to get it 501st Approved.

80414-2.jpg?1413557456

This project involved many Italian 501st guys so we can almost say is a "indoor" project.

The armor:

Handmade by a talented 501st/RL italian friend in Forex (PVC).

I then bondo it, sanded and rounded for the final form.

I also made the painting job on it.

The Soft Parts (Shirt and trousers)

Made also by a 501st/RL Italian friend.

Make Up:

Performed by one of the most important Make Up artist in Italy.

As said it'll be a mix of prosthetics and make up.

Helmet:

Has been sculpted and molded by an Uk Guy.

1st copy has been sent to me and I Assembled/painted it.

What's missing?

The Lightsaber:

Has time was running out and our skilled 501st Italian friend had to prepare his Kanan's armor we left the Inquisitor lightsaber for the future.

The metal body has been made, so it'll be a matter of time before it'll be ready.

Will use a generic red one for this event.

The Buckle:

Again no time to make it.

Our "General" will make it once the event will finish.

In the mean time we will use the standard imperial one.

The Stirupp:

We were thinking about realize a special kind of Stirupp to match the flaps at the ankles.

For this event I'll wear the standard office boots but in the future we will improve it with:

Black Stormtrooper boots and stirupp with flaps.

So guys:

I'm all thrilled and excited.

Anybody wishing good luck?? :P

Wow Davide. This really turned into something very nice. I haven't studied the character yet but I really look forward to getting to know him and the costume. Yours is a very worthy first step. Well done troopers. :)

Thanks guys :)

Really glad you like it!

I'll soon start to write a draft of crl to submit to GML council to see what they think and if it's worth.

In the meantime I leave you this close up of the make up:

if i may say something, i noticed on the 2.5 ft action figures and the tv show that his boots have what look like shin armor the branches out sorta like the shoulders and thighs do.
