Visas Marr WIP

Hi guys- I just wanted to stop in and introduce myself. I am finishing the soft pieces of my husband's Revan and I am honestly sick of boxed pleats... so I have pulled out all of my patterns and am thinking about starting my Visas (unseen unheard)real soon. I am having problems figuring out what type of fabric to buy for the underdress, I have read that the right weight is important, but I want something that flows well.

 

Any suggestions would be appreciated. I plan on following Pam's tutorial

Just ordered the leather for my outer dress.

 

wanted to think what everyone thought of this color for the underdress. (its the same burgundy I am using for Mojofarian's Revan)

that looks nice, I'd call that within the color range you want to look for. it really just depends on how the fabric drapes and if you can find something that's see through for the eye part of the veil.
