  1. Thanks very much! I'll look into that.
  2. Anyone who's got or made the cowl; I'm working on my build, but was wondering if someone had pics of the back, and suggestions for the "triangles" and how to support the top?
  3. Fantastic background work, Timothy, and excellent timing, as I was just beginning to lament the lack of a response to my message.
  4. Thanks, Pam! Good luck with the lekku orders!
  5. The text of the CRL says that "The obi is approximately 4 cm in width," which is about 1 1/2". In the detail photo, it seems to be closer to 10 cm (4"), and in the overview image, it looks closer to 20 cm (8"). Before I put scissors to fabric, is there any consensus on this, or does it appear differently in different scenes in the game?
  6. Does this link work for anyone else? It seems broken from my end.
  7. That's what I figured. Thanks for the help! I'll get to sanding and filling this weekend.
  8. Greetings from the Far South of Canada! I'm working on a Nihilus KOTOR build, and have a question about the red stripes on the mask. I did a 3D print that I found on Thingiverse, and it has ridges where the red would go (see photo). Does anyone know offhand if that's a go/no go item, or if there's discretion at the level of the GML? Thanks for the assist/advice. Matt ID46221
  9. Thanks for making the voice available. May I please get a copy as well?
  10. Citizens of the Galactic Empire! I am Matt, ID-46221, of the Outer Rim Garrison (Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada). I have assisted the 501st as a handler and photographer since 2015, initially because I like helping out with charities, and hanging out with Stormtroopers. Since then, I have discovered that the comeraderie and laughter help immensely in treating my PTSD symptoms, and have made the leap into being a member myself. I am moving back to my home town of Sault Ste Marie, Ontairo (Canadian Garrison's territory), where there are no other 501st members within a 2 1/2 hour drive. With that grim knowledge in hand, I contacted one of my geekiest friends back home, and in my best 1980's Commercial Salesman Voice, I asked "Hey! Do you want to make a positive change in the world? Do you want to have fun on your days off? Do you want your VERY OWN Star Wars costume?" He fell for the bait, so I asked him what costume he'd be interested in. To my surprise, he didn't say Stormtrooper or Darth Vader right off the bat. No. Nothing so mundane for him! He's decided he wants to be an Imperial Knight! So I'm here, as his "Imperial Advisor" (his words, not mine), to learn about the costume, and to come up with a list of sources, tips, and of course, budget. Once we get him in costume, I'll be able to troop again, and introduce another city to the Bad Guys Doing Good.
